Abstract

This article presents the results of a study of the effect of vermicompost on the growth and development of tomatoes. It has been established that seed treatment with 60% liquid biohumus for 24 hourseffectively influences seed germination and tomato growth intensity. When sowing in soil containing 3tons per hectare of biohumus, it showed the best result, and doses of 1 and 2 t / ha were less effective.The worst results were obtained when growing tomato seeds in soil, where there was no biohumus andthis option served as a control for the whole experimental experience. To recommend and introduce theresults of laboratory experiments, the most effective are the results of experiments with the option ofpreseeding tomato seeds with 60% liquid biohumus for 24 hours when applied to soil containing 3 tonsper hectare of dry biohumus. It is simple and affordable for farming, and most existing analogues aredesigned for researchers in the laboratory. In this case, the first filtrate of 10-liter suspension was usedby its repeated passage through thicker dry vermicompost. The work has a scientific and practical valuein terms of the integrated use of biohumus to improve soil fertility and stimulation of agricultural crops.Key words: biohumus, tomato, germination, intensity, method, effective effect.
