Direction of modern researches of botanical diversity of Kyzylorda region

Abstract

The directions of modern botanical researches carried out in the territory of Kyzylorda region characterized mainly by plain terrain having different flora variety and vegetation are presented in this article. Kyzylorda region is an example of the cumulative impact of anthropogenic factors (technogenic, agricultural, housing development, etc.) upon the natural desert landscapes. In this region there is a zone of ecological disaster associated not only with the Aral Sea problems, but also with use of the Baikonur Space Centre. A brief review of botanical profile researches (floristic, geobotanical, resource) of the investigated region is also presented.
