Screening of microorganisms – destructors of chlororganic pollutants

Abstract. At present, one of their ecological problems is the contamination of natural ecosystemsby persistent organic pollutants, which have a high toxicity. Pesticides, including organochlorine compounds, are particularly hazardous for the environment and human. Toxic substances from pesticidestorage facilities can pose a serious threat to all living organismsIn connection with the above, the goal of this study was to study the microbial diversity of soil fromthe burial place of pesticides and screening promising microorganisms – POP destructors and their decay products. In this regard, the microbial diversity of soil samples was taken from the territory of theAlmaty region adjacent to the burial sites of pesticides.Soil samples were taken from 7 points (v. Kyzylkayrat, v. Beskainar, v. Amangeldy №1, v. Amangeldy№2, v. Belbulak, v. Brigada-2 – Almaty Plemzavod, v. Bashy (control) of the Talgar territory the areaof Almaty region adjacent to the pesticide burial sites. As a result of studies, strains of microorganismsdestructors with destructive activity against persistent organic pollutants were selected. These strains canbe used to create a biological product, to clean up soil contaminated with chlorine pesticides.Key words: organochlorine pesticides, microbial diversity, screening, destructive microorganisms,identification, chemical pollutants.
